Center for Environmental Entrepreneurship Sustainability and Development CEESAD is a local non-profit, non-denominational organization created in 2026 and registered with the Government of Cameroon. CEESAD is created within the backdrop of persistent environmental and Climate Change problems in Cameroon to improve on livelihoods of the rural poor in the face of Climate Change while adapting, mitigating and improving community resilience.
To fight climate Change through community empowerment programs and sustainable natural resource management.
To achieve a very resilient community in the face of Climate Change.
CESSAD objectives are to:
Create green jobs and sustain employment especially for youths and women.
Empower local communities to undertake actions that ensure the long-term sustainability of their natural resources and adjacent ecosystems.
Promote organic lifestyles and climate smart cultivation amongst local communities through the empowerment and support of local farmers.
Manage waste through local sensitization programs, upcycling and recycling programs.
Promote innovation through production of prototypes and distribution of equipment that will improve Carbon Dioxide emissions and reduce waste.
Foster value addition on agricultural products the transformation to improve income and transform livelihoods.
Promote scientific research including forest-participatory mapping, wildlife and agricultural programs.
CEESAD exists to empower, and foster the creation of green jobs and sustenance of livelihoods for local poor people in order to foster sustainable development.
